Fresh Bread, Naturally – Vástago | Home Beeswax Bread Bags
There’s nothing like a loaf of freshly baked sourdough, and nothing more disappointing than watching it go soft and stale in a plastic bag. Vástago | Home beeswax bread bags were made for bakers who want their bread to taste as good on day three as it did fresh from the oven.
How it works
Each bag is made from 100% cotton coated with a natural blend of 80% food-grade beeswax, 15% resin and 5% jojoba oil. The coating lets your bread breathe while holding in just enough moisture, so the crust stays crisp and the inside stays soft. A TPU lining adds an extra layer of protection, and a roll-up buckle closure keeps air out between slices.
Room for every loaf
At 16.93 x 12.6 in (43 x 32 cm), each bag fits sourdough boules, batards, baguettes and sandwich loaves. The set includes 2 bags, so you can store two loaves at once or keep one ready while the other is in use.
Easy to care for
Rinse with cold water and mild soap, then let it air dry. Avoid hot water, which can melt the wax coating. With proper care, your bags will replace countless single-use plastic bags.
